We love receiving your feedback on our products and want to share some of your Frequently Asked Questions about our milk with you

FAQ's

Where can we purchase your milk?

Our current delivery route extends between Howick and Ballito. Please click here to see where your closest retail outlet/agent is situated.

Does your milk have any hormones?

Our milk is free of antibiotics and artificial hormones (such as rBST). So you can enjoy your delicious milk and rest assured that you are drinking the freshest, all natural milk.

Tell me more about homogenisation...

Homogenisation is the process of integrating the cream droplets into the milk so that the cream does not separate if the milk has sat, unsettled, for a while.

Homogenised milk improves the flavour, increases consistency and ensures ease – of – use of our milk. Simply pop the lid off & pour!

Homogenisation does not change the butter fat percentage of our various products, so you can continue to enjoy our milk with the same amount of creaminess you’ve grown to love.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the homogenisation process and the impact on our delicious milk.

Is your milk pasteurised?

Our milk is pasteurised. We want you and your family to have the safest milk for drinking, and we believe that pasteurised milk is the safest way to go.

Pasteurised milk is milk that is heat-treated to kill potentially harmful bacteria such as Campylobacter, Listeria and toxin-producing strains of E. coli (STECs). Young children, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems are more likely to be susceptible to bacteria found in raw (unpasteurised) milk.

Where did my layer of cream go?

In August 2019 we introduced homogenisation to our processing. Your cream is now more evenly distributed through your milk so you won’t see the separation that used to occur once your milk had settled.¬†Homogenised milk improves the flavour, increases consistency and ensures ease – of – use. How long does your milk last?

Our milk stays fresh for at least 7 days if kept in a fridge at 4 degrees celsius or less. If your milk has not lasted this long, we would be happy to refund you and investigate why this may have been the case.
